We democratize finance & credit scoring in Europe. Wanna turn bonify into a better tech company? Join our team in Berlin as Frontend Team Lead.

bonify ? a Berlin based FinTech Startup enables customers to benefit from their credit scoring and financial data. We give customers free & easy access to their credit score and let them upload additional relevant data. Then we offer tools and personalized recommendations to help optimize our customer?s financial situation.

Founded in 2015 by key executives of McKinsey and Zalando, bonify has received significant funding from international leading VCs, e.g., Mosaic Ventures and Ribbit Capital, and successful entrepreneurs, e.g., Zalando founders and Raisin founders.

Your Tasks
Your tasks will include:

• Functional and technical leadership of the superstars team consisting from several frontend and mobile developers
• Own and lead the development of our frontend applications using , Redux, HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript
• Own and lead the development of mobile apps in react native
• Actively participate in planning, creating, and running our line of frontend products and services.
• Contributing to the processes of architectural scaling and improving technical resilience of our user interfaces
• Following the latest technological trends and apply them in our products
• Contribute to our agile environment with new innovative ideas
• Help designing best user experience of our consumer offering
• Mentor other tech team members and contribute to the overall culture of our amazing team
• You work directly with CTO
• You leverage your network to recruit top tech talents

What we are looking for
You have the following skill set to complement our team:

• At least 3 years of experience in leading frontend team
• At least 5 years of experience with JavaScript and functional programming patterns
• At least 2 year of experience with building single page applications in React and ES6
• Solid experience in HTML, CSS (Pre- and Postprocessors)
• Deep understanding of web and mobile application mechanics
• Experience with various testing tools, libraries and methodologies
• Experience with Webpack
• Hands-on mentality and always strive to find the best solution as quickly as possible
• Experience with React Native is a big plus
• An understanding of technology in the financial services (including experience building B2C finance apps is a big plus
• Strong customer focus and well organized and always think one step ahead with our customer in mind
• Self-motivated individual with excellent problem solving skills
• Experience working closely with other teams in agile environment
• English language is a must; German language nice to have
